Research, research, research!!! They are a lot of fun but also have a lot of needs that have to be met regularly. Some great resources to get factual infomation is:
1. ADGA website. There is a link for new owners or those with questions.
2. CTDGA website. There are links with information for new owners.
Learn about the different breeds and their adult sizes/needs. Find the one that fits you best.
We also recommend finding a local goat club and/or mentor. These can be invaluable connections that also know of many resources.
Funny enough, this is a question we get a lot!! And NO, we did not cut them off! LOL
Our girls, Freesia and Blizzard are Lamanchas.This is their breed standard and they are born with the small ears. They do have ears, the 'lobe' is just smaller than most are used to seeing. Trust us, their hearing is still as good as any others!

The majority of our milk produced is used for raising our babies. Once they no longer need it, we do have a surplus. If you are interested in purchasing some for your animals, drop us a line!
